Quick, careful nail trims so your dog walks comfortably and your floors stay scratch-free.
The work
Quick, careful nail trims so your dog walks comfortably and your floors stay scratch-free.
We trim your dog's nails to the right length so they don't click on the floor or catch on carpet. Our groomers use sharp clippers and a steady hand to get it done quickly. We know where the quick is, so we stop before it bleeds. Most dogs are in and out in 15 minutes.
We can do this as a standalone service or add it to a full groom. If your dog's nails are really overgrown or they get anxious during trimming, we take our time and keep them calm. Some owners bring their dogs in every 4 to 6 weeks to stay on top of it. We'll let you know when it's time to come back.
Your dog walks out with shorter nails that won't scratch your floors or your legs when they jump up. You'll notice they move easier and don't slip as much on hard surfaces. Most owners say their dog seems more comfortable right away.
What's included: Professional nail trim on all four paws; Quick detection to prevent bleeding; Nail file smoothing if requested; Handling of anxious or fidgety dogs; Grooming advice on how often to trim.

Questions
About nail trimming
How often should I bring my dog in for nail trims?
Most dogs need a trim every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how fast their nails grow and how much time they spend on hard surfaces. We can tell you what schedule works best for your dog when you come in.
What if my dog won't sit still for nail trimming?
We've worked with plenty of wiggly dogs. We use a calm approach and take breaks if needed. If your dog is really nervous, let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
Can you trim my dog's nails if they're really overgrown?
Yes, we can handle overgrown nails. It just takes a bit longer and we have to be extra careful to avoid the quick. We may suggest a shorter trim now and a follow-up in a few weeks to get them where they should be.
