The work
Cuts tailored to your dog's breed standard or your personal style preference.
Every breed has a coat that needs different handling. We don't give every dog the same cut. A Golden Retriever needs something different than a Poodle, and a Schnauzer different still. We learn each breed's standard and what keeps your dog comfortable and looking right for what they are.
We start by listening to what you want, then we factor in your dog's coat type, how often you can brush at home, and the season. Summer cuts are shorter to keep dogs cool. Winter coats can stay fuller. We use the right clippers and techniques so the coat grows back healthy, not patchy or matted.
Your dog leaves looking like they belong in their breed, not like a generic poodle cut. The coat feels good, movement is easy, and you'll actually be able to maintain it between visits. That's the whole point.

Questions
About breed-specific cuts
How often should my dog get a breed-specific cut?
It depends on the breed and your dog's coat. Double-coated breeds like Labs might go 8-12 weeks. Poodles and Doodles need it every 4-6 weeks. We'll tell you what makes sense for your dog and your schedule.
My dog has a really thick coat. Won't a shorter cut damage it?
Not if it's done right. A proper breed cut removes dead coat and opens up the skin so it can breathe. We don't shave down to skin. We use the right blade and technique so your dog stays comfortable and the coat comes back healthy.
Can you do a custom cut that's not breed-standard?
Yes. We can work with what you want. We'll just let you know if it might be harder to maintain or if there's a reason the breed standard works better for your dog's coat type.
